How To Begin The Claims Process
Have a free inspection done by a Seaback Roofing & Restoration specialist. We will schedule a convenient time for one of our claims specialists to do a thorough damage assessment of your property. If they feel the damage is sufficient, they will instruct you to file a claim.
Call your insurance company
When you call your insurance company to file a claim, you will need the following information:
- Your policy number
- The date of the storm
- Inform the insurance company that you have had your property inspected by a trained
specialist and it has been determined that you have hail/wind damage
- Remember to ask for your claim number
Typically, your adjuster will call you back within 72 hours to schedule an appointment. Be sure to get the adjuster’s name and telephone number. Go ahead and set the appointment and contact your Seaback Roofing representative to give them the time, date, and adjuster’s name and number.
The Adjuster Meeting
Two sets of eyes are always better than one. We are there to represent you, not the insurance company and to make sure you get treated fairly. We work hand in hand with every insurance company out there and our presence makes the whole process easier.
Your insurance company will send you a full report detailing what damage is covered. If you have never filed a claim before, this report is often confusing. Call your Seaback Roofing representative to review the scope of work for accuracy and answer any questions you might have.
